The Smurfs Touring Experience, UAE

The Smurfs Touring Experience, developed for EventBox and launched in Dubai, is a large-scale temporary location-based entertainment concept designed as a flexible, traveling destination. Spanning approximately 7,000 sqm, the project is conceived as a fully deployable environment that can be replicated and adapted across multiple markets in the Middle East and beyond. KCC Entertainment Design was engaged to deliver concept and schematic design, defining a format that balances strong IP presence with operational efficiency and mobility.

KCC’s approach structures the experience around a modular layout, combining key components such as Smurfs Village, an interactive museum, themed experience zones, F&B areas, and retail. Each element is designed to function both independently and as part of a cohesive visitor journey, allowing the event to operate efficiently within different venues and configurations. The planning prioritizes clear circulation, fast installation and dismantling, and adaptability to varying site conditions, while maintaining a consistent and recognizable brand experience.
