KCC Entertainment Design was appointed to deliver concept design and schematic design for both water parks, each spanning 10,000 sqm.
The client, Evergrande, wanted to develop 5 distinguished indoor waterparks each connected underground with each other in Jilin, China.
KCC designed the Sports/Active Indoor water park and the Family oriented indoor water park. The objective was to create a clear, differentiated positioning between a high-intensity, sports-oriented waterpark and a family-focused destination, ensuring broader market reach and stronger overall performance of the development.
KCC’s approach established two parallel but connected experiences: The first park is designed around adrenaline-driven activities, featuring dynamic slide systems (racing slides and interactive slides,…) and high-energy active water experiences (water adventure course, surfing,…) targeting teens and young adults.
The second park focuses on accessibility and family engagement, with interactive water play areas, kids’ zones, and relaxed environments tailored to longer stays and group visits.
Through experience-led planning and operationally driven design combined with a unique themed environment, KCC Entertainment Design ensured that both 10,000 sqm water parks are unique and attractive locations.
