Walibi, Belgium

KCC Entertainment Design was requested to assess the existing theme park and create a vision for the refurbishment and extension of the park.

Spanning approximately 50 hectares, Walibi is one of the best Theme Parks in Belgium. KCC analyzed the current traffic flows, identified dead zones and bottlenecks and spending behaviour in the different zones and along the routes. Based on those data the existing park plan was updated with integration of new attractions, moving of others and redrawing the parks pathways.

Additionally KCC developed several new zones including new attractions for the different target groups that were identified in coordination with the client.

This resulted in a masterplan with updated flows, integration and movement of attractions, new themed zones with extended offering which is currently being implemented in phases.
